Data Scientist (Machine Learning Engineer) (Full Time Contract Position - Remote) Nigeria
About the Role
As a Data Scientist with a core focus in Machine Learning at Voltrox HQ LLC, You will play a pivotal role in laying and building our models, algorithms and predictive analysis in real time for our product. This position demands expertise as a Machine Learning Engineer , with a focus on delivering high-quality, performant systems. The candidate for this position should be versatile, possess leadership and self management skills, and confident in their expertise to provide sound advice and guidance. This is a full-time role and we are building a product with time sensitivity, therefore the individual must be timely, efficient and adaptive. The individual must also show mastery of not only being the right fit for this role with an assessment that will be administered, but also demonstrate successful experience working with startups they have worked on, as part of their experience journey.
Experience Level
Minimum of 4 years experience Working at a Startup enabled environment
Interview Process
- Technical and Personal assessment.

- Final Interview with 20 Minutes Presentation of your experience.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Cloud Based Solution - Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to build API with Django or Flask (Python).
- Expertise in major machine learning modeling libraries (e.g., H2O, scikit-learn, PyTorch) and techniques (e.g. random forest, gradient boosting, k-means segmentation, multiple regression, factor analysis, time-series forecasting).
- Experience in digital data sets, e.g., social listening, social network analysis).
- Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, D3) and Data Pipeline (PowerBI).
- Data Scientist Research Skills.
- Experience using OpenAI infrastructure.
